Ilham Aliyev received Jordanian minister of information and communications technology

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received Minister of Information and Communications Technology of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Mohammad Momani.
Mohammad Momani extended King of Jordan Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein`s greetings and best wishes to the head of state and the people of Azerbaijan. He said Jordan has deep respect for President Ilham Aliyev`s leadership, Azerbaijan and its people. Saying Jordan follows Azerbaijan`s successes with interest, Mohammad Momani described Azerbaijan as an exemplary country that hosts important international events.
Noting that personal ties between the King of Jordan and the Azerbaijani President play a big role in the bilateral relations between the two countries, the minister said the King of Jordan gave instructions regarding development of cooperation with Azerbaijan both in political and economic areas. Hailing Azerbaijan`s hosting the Ministerial Conference of the Non-Alignment Movement, Mohammad Momani expressed his gratitude for inviting him to the event.
President Ilham Aliyev thanked the minister for the warm words. The head of state said his personal ties with King of Jordan Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein contribute to the development of relations between the two countries. Describing Jordan as a friendly country for Azerbaijan, President Ilham Aliyev hailed good relations in political area. The head of state noted the importance of increasing the bilateral trade and using investment opportunities. Praising the fact that Azerbaijan has become a host of important international events, President Ilham Aliyev noted the significance of the Ministerial Conference of the Non-Alignment Movement. The head of state expressed his confidence that Azerbaijan`s chairmanship of the movement in the years to come will see successful cooperation on the issues that interest the two countries.
President Ilham Aliyev thanked for Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein`s greetings, and asked the minister to extend his greetings to the King of Jordan.
