Ilham Aliyev reviewed a hi-tech IT Park in Kazan

President Ilham Aliyev, accompanied by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, has reviewed a hi-tech IT Park in Kazan.
The head of state was informed about Tatarstan’s biggest Data Processing Center established using cutting-edge information technologies. It was indicated that the IT Park, operating since 2009, is the first hi-tech park in Russia dealing with the development of IT companies.
A presentation was also organized about Tatarstan’s industrial potential, including petrochemical opportunities, the Yelabuga special economic zone and the Khimgrad hi-tech park. Representatives of the companies dealing with the development and application of advanced technologies informed the head of state in detail of their activities and products.
While at the hi-tech park, President Ilham Aliyev was familiarized with “electronic government” projects in Tatarstan and opportunities of a single interagency electronic document exchange system. The President of Azerbaijan also examined the operation of the GLONASS-112 rescue coordination system and reviewed the business incubator of the IT Park. The head of state was informed that the business incubator of the IT Park represents a platform for supporting and developing IT projects and their future exports.
President Ilham Aliyev left a note on a special memory wall of the hi-tech park.
