President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev made a telephone call to Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic Recep Tayyip Erdogan on June 12.
President congratulated Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the Justice and Development Party’s decisive victory at the parliamentary elections, conducted in Turkey. The President noted that Turkey has traversed a long and successful path under the leadership of Recep Tayyip Erdogan and underscored that this victory was the manifestation of the confidence of the Turkish people in Justice and Development Party, led by the Prime Minister.
Turkish Prime Minister expressed his gratitude for President Ilham Aliyev’s sincere congratulations.
President of the Azerbaijan Republic and Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic expressed assurances in further successful development of friendly and brotherly relations in all fields between the two states.
President Ilham Aliyev invited Recep Tayyip Erdogan to visit Azerbaijan at a convenient time. The invitation was accepted with gratitude.
