President Ilham Aliyev met with acting president of Moldova, Marian Lupu, at his residence in Rome.

The sides expressed satisfaction with successful development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Moldova at the meeting. The leaders also noted the importance of mutual support of positions between the two countries at international organizations. The existence of good potential for deepening of ties was highlighted, while the sides exchanged views on realization of this potential.
