Ilham Aliyev received Mark Field, Chairman of All-Party Parliamentary Group on Azerbaijan

President Ilham Aliyev received the delegation led by Mark Field, Chairman of All-Party Parliamentary Group on Azerbaijan, member of Conservative Party and Intelligence&Security Committee from the constituency of cities of London and Westminster.
Mark Field, Chairman of All-Party Parliamentary Group on Azerbaijan said that one of main trends of activities of the group chaired by him is to provide information about Azerbaijan to the members of UK Parliament. Saying that Azerbaijan has great potential not only in oil and gas field, but also in non-oil sector, Mark Field expressed his hope to share mutual experience between our countries in agriculture, tourism, sports, culture and other. Touching upon the Armenian-Azerbaijani, Nagorno Karabakh conflict, the British guest said that Azerbaijani people and Government demonstrated a great patience in last 20 years in relation to this conflict and expressed that they understand the concern of Azerbaijan on this issue and promised to study closely the problem during the visit.
The head of state highly valued the information provided in Great Britain by UK-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Group on achievements gained in Azerbaijan and tasks that lie ahead. President Ilham Aliyev stressed the successful development of bilateral relations between our countries and said that they encompass many areas while our energy ties have a long history. Highlighting the importance of expanding our relations in tourism, sports, culture, investments in non-oil sector and other, the head of state noted the significance of studying opportunities to develop further mutually beneficial co-operation.
