President Ilham Aliyev has reviewed the progress of work on expanding the new road infrastructure in the direction of the Heydar Aliyev International Airport, the Mardakan and Bilgah settlements, and the capital.
As is known, extensive work has been carried out in Baku on the instruction of President Ilham Aliyev to landscape roads, establish new parks and alleys to provide residents of the capital with effective leisure opportunities, and set up green belts.
The landscaping and creative work under way along the Heydar Aliyev Avenue on the way from the airport into the city is producing a good impression on the country’s population and foreign visitors. On the instruction of President Ilham Aliyev, the Heydar Aliyev Avenue has been refurbished, the highway expanded, new overhead crossings and bridges built and building façades renovated at a modern level. The head of state always keeps the landscaping and creative work in the capital and adjacent settlements in the focus.
After reviewing the work under way, President Ilham Aliyev issued relevant instructions on further landscaping the section of the Heydar Aliyev Avenue, which is considered the gates of the capital, in the direction of the city, establishing green belts along the road, expanding the new road infrastructure in the direction of the Heydar Aliyev International Airport, the Mardakan and Bilgah settlements, and the capital.
