President Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of “Qafqaz Tufandağ Mountain Resort” in Qabala. The construction of the hotel started in 2014. The five-storey hotel occupies a total area of 4 hectares, with the area of the construction site being 3,400 square metres. The hotel has 50 rooms. There are a 100-seat pub, 400-seat cafe, 500-seat steak and wine house, 200-seat “Duruca” restaurant, and 500-seat “Qabala” cafe in the complex. The hotel will also offer alpine skiing services.

The hotel will create 250 permanent jobs.
