Ilham Aliyev laid foundation of new road and transport infrastructure in former “Sovetski” area in Baku

President Ilham Aliyev has laid a foundation stone for a new road and transport infrastructure in former “Sovetski” area in Yasamal district, Baku.
The head of state was informed of reconstruction and landscaping work carried out in the area by Azeravtoyol.
The first phase of the work to be carried out here will see the construction of roads in a 3-hectare area and landscaping in a 23-hectare area.
Chairman of Azeravtoyol Saleh Mammadov told the head of state that the owners of 3,827 residential and non-residential areas were provided with compensations.
The reconstruction work here will be carried out in five streets measuring more than more than 6,000 km in length.
Modern lighting system will be installed and bus stations will be built along the roads.
President Ilham Aliyev gave relevant instructions and recommendations.
