President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev made a phone call to Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey Binali Yildirim on May 24.

The head of state congratulated Binali Yildirim on his election as chair to the ruling Justice and Development Party and his appointment as Prime Minister, wishing him success in state activities and strong health.

Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim thanked the head of state for attention and congratulations.

During the phone conversation, the sides expressed confidence in further development of friendly and fraternal relations between the two countries in all areas.
