President  Ilham Aliyev has met with High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini as part of his working visit to Vienna.

The sides hailed Azerbaijan-European Union cooperation. The visit of High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini to Azerbaijan was described as high level, and the sides pointed to good results of this visit.

They exchanged views over settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The sides discussed recent events on the line of troops` contact, and underlined the importance of observing the ceasefire as a result of mutual understanding and confidence building measures.
