Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by Reza Taghipour Anvari, the Minister of Information and Communication Technologies of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Minister Reza Taghipour Anvari conveyed the best regards and wishes of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to the President. He mentioned that President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad instructed him to deliver his gratitude personally to the President of Azerbaijan for his attention and hospitality during the former's visit to Azerbaijan. The Minister said that the Iranian President is convinced that such high level mutual visits would serve to further expanding of relations between the two states. Reza Taghipour Anvari presented the letter of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad addressed to the President.
President Ilham Aliyev said that the visit of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran was successful and yielded good results.
The President thanked for the regards sent by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and asked the guest to convey his regards to the President of Iran in return.
