President Ilham Aliyev received Georgian Foreign Minister, Grigol Vashadze.

Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze delivered the greetings of President Mikheil Saakashvili to the President.

During the meeting, the sides emphasized development of relations in political, economic and other fields between the two countries. Successful cooperation in energy projects between Azerbaijan and Georgia was noted. Bilateral relations, regional and international issues were discussed during the talks.

The President expressed his gratitude for the greetings of President Mikheil Saakashvili and asked to deliver his greetings to Georgian President as well.
