On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan I would like to congratulate you and the people of your country on the national holiday of Georgia.

Our people are linked together through deep historical roots of friendship and good-neighborliness. At the same time, our interstate relations, based on mutual understanding and confidence, are opening up broad opportunities for the development of effective cooperation in all areas.

I have warm recollections of our recent meeting in Tbilisi and believe that the cooperation and strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Georgia will keep on contributing to the prosperity of our countries, peace, stability and progress in the region.
