Ilham Aliyev met with the Prime Minister of Vietnam

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has met with the Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Nguyen Tan Dung.
Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Nguyen Tan Dung said this visit was very important in elevating the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Vietnam to a higher level. Noting that several effective meetings had been held during the visit, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung expressed his satisfaction with Azerbaijan’s achievements under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev.
Indicating that the relations between Azerbaijan and Vietnam were developing in political, economic and other spheres, the Prime Minister also pointed to the successful cooperation between the two countries in international organizations. He said the economic cooperation was developing particularly fast and pointed to the presence of great potential for mutual investment.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed his satisfaction with the successful development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Vietnam in political, economic and other spheres and emphasized the importance of expanding economic relations and increasing trade. Therefore, the President said it was necessary to expand the structure and format of economic cooperation.
The President highlighted the presence of broad prospects for the development of various sectors of the economy, including energy, investment, science, education, tourism, etc., adding that the state visit would contribute a lot to this process.
The sides also exchanged views on issues of mutual interest and international affairs.
