President of the Syrian Arab Republic Bashar al-Assad made a telephone call to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

During the phone discussion, successful development of bilateral relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Syrian Arab Republic in various fields was highlighted and confidence was expressed in further strengthening of ties.

Presidents of Azerbaijan and Syria exchanged views on bilateral relations and other issues.
