President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received the former Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Gerhard Schroeder.

The sides exchanged views on issues related to the development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and the Federal Republic of Germany and the prospects for these relations, and emphasized the role of the Germany-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce in cooperation in various fields.
