Ilham Aliyev received former President of Ingushetia Ruslan Aushev

President Ilham Aliyev has received Ruslan Aushev, the former President of the Republic of Ingushetia of the Russian Federation.
Having stressed that Ruslan Aushev, the former President of Ingushetia, was a big friend of our country and people, President Ilham Aliyev praised Ruslan Aushev’s active role in strengthening peace and security in the region, and his great role in developing the traditionally friendly relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation, including with the republics in the North Caucasus. President Ilham Aliyev noted that Ruslan Aushev was being awarded the Dostlug (Friendship) Order, a high Azerbaijani state award, for his services to strengthen ties between the peoples of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation and to establish peace and calm in the region, and he presented him with the Order.
Former President of the Republic of Ingushetia of the Russian Federation Ruslan Aushev stressed that he felt very proud to have the Friendship Order, a high Azerbaijani state award, conferred upon him. He very respectfully honoured the memory of Geydar Aliyev, the late national leader of our people.
Ruslan Aushev also noted that he was deeply impressed by the dynamic development under way in Azerbaijan recently.
