I convey to you and, through you, to the fraternal people of Iran my sincerest congratulations on the occasion of the national holiday of the Islamic Republic of Iran – Revolution Day. 

The relations between our countries spring from the will of our peoples who have lived historically in an atmosphere of friendship and neighbourliness, and from our common spiritual values.

I believe that, as we said at the meeting during the Davos Economic Forum, we will consistently continue our efforts towards preserving and developing the good traditions of our bilateral relations, comprehensively expanding cooperation.

On this important day, I wish you robust health and success in your affairs, and peace and prosperity to the friendly and fraternal people of Iran.
