President Ilham Aliyev received Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.
At the meeting, the sides expressed satisfaction with the successful development of relations between our two countries in the political, economic and other areas, noted the importance of global economic projects undertaken jointly by Azerbaijan and Georgia and stressed the importance of the upcoming 17 December event to sign a final investment decision on Shah Deniz-2 for the further expansion of our relations. During the conversation, the sides noted that the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway project is being successfully implemented and exchanged views on issues relating to the prospects of cooperation in the energy sphere.
The sides expressed confidence that the friendly relations between our two countries will further strengthen.
