President Ilham Aliyev received the credentials of the newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of New Zealand to the country, Taha Macpherson.
Ambassador Taha Macpherson passed in front of the Guard of Honour.
Taha Macpherson presented his credentials to President Ilham Aliyev.
Then, President Ilham Aliyev spoke with the ambassador.
Stressing that there is great potential for the development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and New Zealand in a variety of fields, including in the economic sphere, the head of state noted the importance of studying the possibilities of cooperation and further strengthening of partnerships.
Ambassador Taha Macpherson congratulated the head of state on his re-election as President. He promised that he would make every effort to enhance bilateral relations between our countries.
