I hope this partnership will continue and peace and prosperity will be established in the Caspian region.

The Arizona State Senate recently adopted a resolution reaffirming the economic independence of Azerbaijan and its strong democracy based on tolerance. Rich oil and gas resources have turned Azerbaijan into one of the reliable energy sources in Europe. Azerbaijan plays an important role in the diversification of energy for all allied countries. The creation of a new pipeline that will deliver Caspian hydrocarbons to Europe demonstrates your far-sighted leadership that leads Azerbaijan to even greater progress.

We welcome your efforts to promote competition to create a healthy business climate in Azerbaijan and economic development that requires successive reforms.
