Please accept my sincere congratulations on your re-election as President of the Azerbaijan Republic. I wish you success in the highest state position.

I hope that productive cooperation between the Azerbaijan Republic and the European Investment Bank will continue in the future. I am sure that with the funding of the mutually agreed European Union Bank project, the European Investment Bank will further strengthen relations between the Azerbaijan Republic and the European Union within the framework of the Eastern Partnership programme.

I hope that the Azerbaijani government will ratify the frame agreement signed between the Azerbaijan Republic and our bank on 29 August 2013. This document will allow the European Investment Bank to start financial work to support the rapid economic and social development of your country.
